A TOWN centre store has gone ‘green’ to help children who have suffered abuse.
Staff at BHS in Church Square shopping centre are dressing in green this month and staging fundraising events and collections to raise money for children’s charity NSPCC.
Simon Moss, retail operations chief at BHS, praised store staff: “We hope our customers will get behind us and join in the green themed fun.”
Alison Roberts from the NSPCC fundraising team said: “It’s great that BHS are raising vital funds to support children and young people in Merseyside and across the UK.
“As a volunteer-led charity we rely on the generosity of the public and are grateful for their support.”
BHS has been supporting the NSPCC since 2006 and raised over £1million for the charity.
