THERE is just time for communities to apply for £25,000 worth of project funding.
The Better Together project created by home insurers Together Mutual aims to support projects that can make a real difference to people’s lives.
Chris McElligott, of Together Mutual Insurance, explained: "We are completely open to ideas - big or small. There is still time to enter.
"Better Together aims to support new and existing projects and is open to charities, community groups, action groups and neighbourhoods across the North West.
"The winning projects will receive both cash funding and labour to complete the required works, which will be carried out by Groundwork MSSTT."
Entrants will need to submit a 200-word description of the project and how it will contribute to the local community, along with high resolution supporting images.
Friday, March 21 is the last day for applications. A shortlist will then be announced and people will be able to vote online. For entry and further details www.togetherinsurance.co.uk/better
