BBC RADIO 2 presenter Paul Jones is bringing his own blues band to the Citadel this Friday.
Paul, was at the centre of the Sixties pop revolution with million-selling records alongside the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Animals, before embarking on successful acting and broadcasting careers.
He founded the Blues Band in 1979 initially as a hobby project, and ended up launching another boom in blues music thanks to the public response.
The band continues to be celebrated, playing at venues across the world in venues including civic halls and theatres and have also headlined at Glastonbury and toured with Dire Straits.
Few Short Lines, their new album, is the latest addition to their array of recordings.
The performnace starts at 7.30pm on Friday, February 21 with tickets priced at £20 for adults and £18 for concessions.
For further information or to book tickets call the Citadel Box Office on 01744 735436 or visit the Citadel website citadel.org.uk.
