Driver escapes after car flips over on Rainford By-pass

A DRIVER had a lucky escape when a car ended up on its side in a field after leaving the road during the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were called out to the Rainford By-pass, near Mossborough Road just after 5am.
Just one car was involved and the man was out of the vehicle by the time emergency services arrived. He was checked at the scene by paramedics, but refused hospital treatment.
Fire crews made the car safe, before dragging it back onto all four wheels.
