Jennifer Aniston has revealed she is intent on making her mark as a director.
The former Friends star, who was snubbed by the Academy Awards for an Oscar nomination for her performance in Cake, admitted she is hoping to head behind the cameras for a feature-length film.
“We’re going to make it happen, but I have a lot of time. We’re just beginning,” she told E! News.
Jennifer’s directing experience includes 2006′s short film Room 10, starring Robin Wright and Kris Kristofferson, as well as a segment in Five, a TV movie about breast cancer with Patricia Clarkson, Josh Holloway and Ginnifer Goodwin in 2011.
The 45-year-old actress said she was set to direct her first film about two years ago, with Patricia in the starring role.
“It fell through,” she admitted. “A job that I committed to that we didn’t think was going to happen ended up happening and so it was heartbreaking.”
Jennifer has been making moves behind the scenes for many years, taking on producing duties. She was an executive producer for four of her films: 2008 romantic comedy-drama Management, 2010 comedy The Switch, 2014 crime comedy Life Of Crime and drama Cake.
