PETE GLEAVE Judith, Bev, Wendy and family wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who have shown such kindness and support after the sad loss of their beloved husband and dad. They have been overwhelmed by the numerous cards, messages of sympathy and donations to the Salvation Army from Pete’s many friends from the folk family, the U3A, neighbours, Pilks Ramblers and his former colleagues at Triplex. In particular, many thanks to Sheila Liptrot, Pete Stephens, coffin-bearers Jim Macro and David Shepherd and their families. Also to the staff of Elizabeth Court Care Home who cared for Pete so tenderly, to Bill Dawson for conducting a wonderful celebration of Pete’s life, to all staff at the Mansion House for their professionalism and to Kieron Dooley of F Dooley and Son for all of his support. Whilst he will be sorely missed, we are all so lucky to have shared our lives with Pete and he lives on in our hearts.
