A TEENAGER is delighted after being selected for nomination for the Fashion Week Model Awards.
Melissa Warren, from Rainhill, was among the girls chosen at the Fashion Week Model Awards in London Charing Cross.

The 16-year-old received a beautiful glass award from the SS20 show and has been nominated for the main Fashion Week Model Awards.

Earlier this year, the Star reported when former Rainhill High pupil Melissa came first runner-up at the Top Model 2019 Finals in London, also raising money for Children with Cancer.
Now the Carmel student, who studies include fashion, and criminology, is thrilled by her latest achievement after hitting the catwalk in London.

"She is really overwhelmed and for her it is really amazing," said mum Gemma.
"She is made up and we are all ecstatic for her.
"We are so proud of her at only 16 she is doing amazing and is in her element modelling the designer's collection's
"She loves modelling and is a total natural and it is something that she is really interested in pursuing."
