A WOMAN who built her business after moving to St Helens six years ago has baked the perfect wedding cake for UFC star Paddy the Baddy.
Originally from Skelmersdale, Alicia Walsh started baking when she was 20 after always having a knack for art and creativity.
Starting off baking cupcakes and sweet treats, Alicia's business 'Lissy Baked Your Day' really started to take off after she began baking personalised, unique, and bespoke cakes.

With Alicia working out of her garden studio near Fingerpost, the popularity of 'Lissy Baked Your Day' is obvious as she has attracted 28,000 followers on Instagram and 10,000 on Facebook.
And as customers consistently return for Alicia's tasty treats, she has also gained the attention of local sports stars and celebrities, who have helped to give the 28-year-old's business a further boost through social media and recommendations.
This includes Ian Watkins from Steps, Melissa Reeves from MTV show Ex On the Beach, and UFC star Paddy 'the Baddy' Pimblett.
With a charismatic personality, the scouse fighter is known to indulge in lots of cuisines and sweet treats after his fights and gruelling training regimes - so much so that the Wheatsheaf on Mill Lane named a Sunday roast after him.
After winning one of his UFC fights in Las Vegas, the 28-year-old had his eye on Alicia's cakes and collected a large treat box on his way to a family holiday.
Blown away by Alicia's baked goods, he made sure that the Fingerpost baker created the perfect wedding cake as he tied the knot with long-term partner Laura Gregory last month.
Following discussions about the design, Alicia said the couple was "absolutely made up" with her three-tier ivory wedding cake that was "simplistic and contained real orchids".
Reflecting on her business' success and move to St Helens, Alicia said: "I have been extremely lucky to have such amazing customers who recommend me and support my work.
"I moved to the area six years ago and I didn’t actually know anyone, so I built the business from nothing really. So to have over 28K followers on Instagram and 10,000 on Facebook is a huge achievement for me.
"I have returning customers all year long and they are amazing - I wouldn’t be where I am today without them."
After grabbing the attention of local celebrities and helping to create the perfect cake for many special occasions, Alicia hopes to continue growing her business and reaching more clients from her garden hub in St Helens.
