Quad bikes patrols near the Nine Arches
POLICE say there have been cases of off-road bikes being used on footpaths near to the Nine Arches viaduct.
Concerned horse riders have reported incidents at the Newton-le-Willows site to police.

They say the use of off-road bikes has been frightening horses in the area.
Police officers went out on quad bike patrols at the location on Sunday afternoon, June 19, in response to the recent reports.
