A MAN who drove without a licence and obstructed a police officer has been fined.
Emanual Simoes, 32, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
Simoes pleaded guilty to having driven a BMW on Helena Road, Sutton, without a licence on May 31 this year, and to driving without insurance.
The 32-year-old also pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty on May 31, and to, criminal damage for destroying a Codes of Practice book belonging to Merseyside Police.
Simoes, of Turf Lane, Chadderton, Oldham, was fined £120, made to pay a £34 surcharge and £85 in costs, making a total of £239.
He was disqualified from driving for six months "due to repeat offending" and his licence endorsed with six penalty points.
