A BUSINESS owner has been left upset after "senseless" vandals trespassed on the premises and poured oil all over its display.
Paving firm Stone and Procelain Ltd, based at Abbotsfield Road at the Reginald Road Industrial Estate, was targeted on Friday night, June 10.
Police attended after the alarm was triggered, at around 11pm.
CCTV footage showed black oil being poured all over the display by two hooded vandals.
A spokesman for the company said it had spent the past two years working on the display, which had just been finalised.
"The police came in to investigate in response to the triggered alarm, the culprits had disappeared by the time they had arrived," he said.
"I am truly disappointed and I really don’t know what they had to gain from doing this. It is senseless.
"I am just upset, we had just finished the display and had just got it right."
He added: "It is just upsetting. We have been here for several years and have things in the pipeline to give back to the community.
"It is going to cost us around just more than £50,000."
