SAINTS prop Kyle Amor has joined Super League rivals Warrington Wolves on loan until the end of the season.

Amor, who turns 35 this week, has been at Saints since joining from Wakefield in 2014 and has made 211 appearances in the red vee.

He has been part of four Grand Final winning teams and scored the match-sealing try in last year's Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.

Amor said: “I owe Saints an awful lot. What they have done for me personally and also my family has been great. I will always have an eternal bond with the Club as I have had a lot of success there.

“That is one thing I am incredibly proud of. I have been able to play my part in those sides which have been able to achieve what they have in one of the most successful periods of the Club’s history.

“It’s a special place for me, but that has got to be put to one side for now and my focus is now on Warrington and getting a job done there.”

His last game for Saints was in the youthful side that lost at Castleford in Easter week.

Saints currently have Alex Walmsley, Matty Lees, Agnatius Paasi and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook as frontline props.

They have Dan Norman as back up with loose forward Jake Wingfield who can play in the middle.

Saints Head Coach Kristian Woolf added: “We thank Kyle for his long service with us. He has been a valued member of the team for the best part of nine years and has been a big part of our success over recent years.

“This move allows him the opportunity to gain more game time elsewhere. We wish him, Carrie, Max and Lila all the best at Warrington.”

Bench wise they are well-blessed with James Bell and one of the trio of second rows (Sione Mata'utia, Joe Batchelor and Curtis Sironen) jostling for a spot alongside the two big men and Joey Lussick.
