TWO men who were arrested on suspicion of raping a teenage girl in Ashton-in-Makerfield have been bailed by police.
Officers attended Old Road in Ashton-in-Makerfield at around 3.45pm on Monday, January 17, to a report a girl had been raped.
Two suspects in their 30s were arrested by officers and were taken into custody.
Police have confirmed that the two suspects have since been bailed pending further inquiries.

A police spokeswoman said after the arrests: "At around 3.45pm on Monday, January 17, 2022, we received a report that a teenage girl had been raped at a premises on Old Road, Ashton in Makerfield.
"Officers attended and an investigation is underway.
"Two men in their 30s have been arrested on suspicion of rape.
