A THIRTY-NINE-YEAR-OLD man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving over the weekend after crashing his car into a wall in Haydock.
At around 3.10am on Saturday, January 15, police were alerted to reports of a car colliding with a wall on Taylor Road, Haydock.
A witness to the crash said that after the incident, the man parked his car up on the street and walked off with his partner.
Merseyside Police confirmed that the 39 year-old, from St Helens, was detained nearby and arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
