A WOMAN alleged to have crashed a car and then driven off has been charged by police.
Police were called to a report of a collision involving a silver Mercedes Benz and two stationary vehicles in Sutton Heath Road in St Helens on Saturday morning, January 15.
Officers attended the scene at around 8.30am on Saturday 15 January.
The driver of the Mercedes was later arrested in connection with the incident.

Louise Barton, of Horsey Mere Gardens, Sutton Heath, was later charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and failing to stop after a road accident.
Barton, 38, was due to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 17.
