POLICE have been delivering crime prevention advice following reports of a spate of burglaries.
Officers say they have been made aware of several break-ins around Newton-le-Willows recently.

In response, police have delivered bags with crime prevention advice to people's homes.
In a Facebook post this morning, Thursday, August 26, St Helens Police said: "Today PCSO's are out delivering bags with crime prevention advice across Newton-le-Willows following on from a number of burglaries that have been reported to us over the past few days."
