EMERGENCY services were called after a two-car crash earlier this afternoon (Friday, June 18).
They attended the scene on Sherdley Road, close to the Sherdley Roundabout and St Helens Linkway.
A Renault Captur and a Ford Focus were involved in the collision.
There has been traffic disruption in the area.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that emergency services have been in St Helens following reports of a road traffic collision this afternoon, Friday, June 18.
"At around 1.30pm, emergency services were called to the junction of Wharton Street and Sherdley Road, to reports of a collision involving a Renault Captur and a Ford Focus.
"No injuries were reported but one driver was removed from their vehicle and damage was caused to a business premises.
"Both vehicles have been recovered."
