A FIREWORK was hurled at the side door of a property last night.
Some residents in Sutton reported hearing a loud bang on Wednesday night (February 24).
Police have confirmed that they received a report of a firework having been thrown at the side door of a house on Ridgewood Drive, Sutton shortly after 8.30pm.
No-one was injured, police added.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a firework being thrown at the side door of a house on Ridgewood Drive at around 8.35pm last night (Wednesday).
"The firework caused smoke damage. Nobody was injured.
"Enquiries are being carried out in the local area.
