A PAEDOPHILE who sexually assaulted a girl, a speeding driver who caused the death of a 13-year-old boy and a convicted thief who damaged a police vehicle are among criminals who were jailed during September.
- Anthony Bloor
Anthony Edward Bloor of Brentwood Close, Eccleston, was found guilty of multiple counts of sexual offences against a child after a trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
Bloor, who carried out the sexual assaults, in Southport was jailed for 15 years.
Police welcomed the prison sentence, branding Bloor "a dangerous individual".

- Shane Wilson
Shane Wilson, of Phoenix Brow, St Helens, was sentenced to 20 weeks in jail at Liverpool Magistrates' Court.
Wilson, 33 was found to be drunk and disorderly on North Road, St Helens on Monday, August 31 and also caused criminal damage to a police vehicle.
Wilson committed the offences while serving a suspended sentence for thefts, which was imposed on May 14.

- Liam Wilson
An unlicensed driver who drove at almost three times over the speed limit and killed a teenage boy was jailed for four years.
Liam Wilson, of Livingstone Street, Ashton-in-Makerfield, was jailed at Bolton Crown Court after pleading guilty to causing the death by dangerous driving of former Hope Academy pupil Jack Worwood.
The court heard that Wilson was driving at approximately 58 miles per hour on a 20 miles per hour stretch of road.

- Darren Donohue
A Prescot man who swung a metal pole at police officers during a disturbance was jailed for a year.
Darren James Donohue, of Hayes Avenue, Prescot, was given the prison sentence at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court.
Donohue, 34, was charged after the disturbance on Hayes Avenue in Prescot on Monday, August 31 and pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon, affray and with making a menacing voice call to 999..
He was on licence at the time of the offences.
