A MAN and a teenager have been charged with burglary after a break-in.
The Star reported last week how detectives were investigating a burglary at a property on Elm Grove, Eccleston Park.
The break-in happened during the afternoon of Thursday, June 18.
A resident on the street found there were two people in his house shortly before 4.45pm.
They allegedly made their way to the garden and into a shed, damaging a window forcing entry to the property.
Police arrived and two suspects were detained running away from the house
Following a search a lock knife and screwdriver were seized, and a crow bar was recovered from a nearby garden.

This weekend police confirmed Lee Moore, 25, of Malvern Road, Parr has been charged with burglary with intent to steal and possession of a knife in a public place.
Arron Carney, 18, of Exeter Street, Newtown, St Helens has been charged with burglary with intent to steal.
Both were due to appear in Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
