The blade has been seized by police
A TEENAGE boy was found with a knife up his sleeve when he was stopped in St Helens town centre by police officers.
Yesterday, Saturday, June 20 at about 4pm, officers on patrol stopped and searched a teenager on Ormskirk Street, in the town centre.
It is alleged this knife was hidden up his sleeve.
A police spokesman said a 16-year-old boy was arrested and later charged with possession of a bladed article.
He will appear in court next month.
