POLICE have issued a CCTV appeal after a wallet was snatched as a car was broken into on a driveway.

Detectives have released a still of a man they believe could have information to help their investigation after a car was broken into on Roysten Gardens, Peasley Cross.

Offenders gained entry to the victim’s vehicle by unknown means while it was parked on the owner's driveway.

A wallet containing bank cards was stolen from the vehicle and police say these bank cards were then later used multiple times, including at Ashcroft Service Station on Ashcroft Street in Parr.

The theft happened during the early hours of Saturday, September 7. Detectives released the CCTV image today (Monday, October 7).
