A BREAK-IN at a butchers in Rainford is believed to be linked with other burglaries at business premises in the area.
Burglars targeted J E Cook Butchers on Ormskirk Road, Rainford on the night of Thursday, April 25 into 26.

Police say a "small amount" of cash was stolen along with some vehicle keys.
No vehicles were taken during the incident.
A spokesman said: "The offenders did gain entry and stole a small amount of cash and some vehicle keys. However, no vehicles were stolen."
As the Star previously reported, three other businesses were targeted by burglars in the area during a night earlier in the week.
The spokesman added the break-in would "appear to be linked" with the earlier burglaries.
