BURGLARS targeted separate business premises in Rainford during the same night.
Police are appealing for information following two burglaries and one attempted burglary at businesses in Rainford which too place overnight on Tuesday into Wednesday.

Offences were reported overnight at The Rainford Deli and Crompton & Gilmore Opticians on Ormskirk Road, with small amounts of cash taken in both burglaries.
Meanwhile, there was also an attempted burglary at the chip shop on Ormskirk Road.
Police say it is not known at this stage what time the offences took place.
CCTV and forensic enquiries are ongoing and police say they have put high visibility patrols in place to reassure businesses and the community.
