I’LL start this letter by saying I do like dogs.
Having a pet in the house brings a great deal of joy and, when growing up, teaches you to be caring and responsible.
However, I have to say I think the dog-friendly approach at venues that has grown over the years is now stretching it a bit.
Many places allow dogs in cafes, pubs and shops – while parks I visit are often very crowded with them.
That’s fine for those who love dogs, but what about those who are less keen or adults, kids who are afraid of them?
I think a lot of places need to look at having sections where dogs are allowed and others where they are not, including parks.
