I TOOK my grandchildren to Victoria Park off Bishop Road on April 2, 2024.
There were a group of young boys playing rugby near the play area.
I think they were members of Haresfinch Juniors.
My two-year-old grandson Elliott passed the ball back to them and before long, they were all playing catch with him and cheering when he caught the ball.
I haven’t seen a nicer group of children. I thanked them for being lovely.
Their families should be proud of them and Elliott enjoyed every minute!
