THERE'S a beautiful mural that has been painted on the wall on the inside of the bridge that crosses St Helens Central railway station.
It really is lovely – a striking celebration of St Helens culture.
Sadly in other respects I found this station pretty soulless.
Given it's the main station in central St Helens is there anything that could be done to make this place feel more vibrant and give it some more identity.
There used to be a coffee shop in there, but that's boarded up now.
Given the amount of people that use that station, surely there's potential for a little food and drink business in there.
Lok at Prescot, it has the superb Station Coffee House.
Anyone got any ideas?
