AFTER reading about the approval of hundreds of new houses on greenfield land in Rainford, I think it’s clear most people know there is a housing crisis, myself included.
The problem is with WHERE we are building them not the fact they are being built.
We need to adopt a ‘brownfield only’ building policy to encourage investment in derelict sites and stop the net loss of green space we are suffering year on year.
