WHY are people so afraid of kids hearing swearing?
They hear it on the playground anyway.
There’s a huge difference between swearing in front of children and swearing at them.
It’s important to teach children about language, including swear words, and when it is/isn’t appropriate to use certain words.
Not teaching them about swear words and hiding them from them completely doesn’t help them once they’re grown up.
