REGARDING some of the comments made by Star readers about parking on double yellow lines, particularly on North Road and Duke Street in St Helens.
Maybe it would be better to remove the yellow lines on at least one side of the road and then you would see a lot more people visiting (you know, those people who spend money).
I think it’s time we stopped putting the boot in on car owners and start thinking about what is going on in our high streets.
