REGARDING last week’s letter calling for improvements at Queens Park recreation ground.
This park is a drug den, especially near the tennis court area and duck pond.
I lived facing this park as a child and had many happy memories from playing in this park but sadly it’s somewhere I never feel safe taking my children.
Victoria Park in Widnes is a brilliant park, especially in the summer with the water park. It also has a cafe/ ice cream cafe.
