I SEE that it didn’t take long for the vandals to remove and make off with the memorial plaque for the tree in Sutton Park that was planted to commemorate all those we lost to Covid-19.
How sad and those who did so ought to be ashamed of themselves.
I guess they were fortunate not to be touched by the pandemic?
Indeed, Sutton Park is looking a sorry state thanks to these hooligans.
Graffiti is on the rise, not only on each noticeboard and bench, but on the remarkable boulder that has stood untouched at the entrance for decades.
It now sports a smiley face. But I can see nothing to smile about.
Will the council do something?
