Eccleston Lane Ends war memorial
REGARDING the feature by Stephen Wainwright in last week’s Star that marked the anniversary of the war memorial in Eccleston Park.
I drive past this statue a lot and up until now didn’t know much about it.
Wow, it’s another first for St Helens!
Look beyond the moment and there’s so much history to be proud of in this town.
It would be nice if we could all make St Helens great again.
