THE Local Plan that will destroy protected land across St Helens is promoted by the council with photos of greenfields and described as “balanced”.
The new library strategy is apparently “vibrant” even though six community libraries will be closing.
The council is obviously fluent in what George Orwell called doublespeak.
So they should understand this; I believe St Helens Council always listens to the views of residents and offers taxpayers brilliant value for money.
