Tears flow,

Fears grow,

The world unites

Zelensky and his Ukrainian people choose

to fight

To save their country and maintain peace

Hopefully with an everlasting lease.

Weather the storm, homes are

left, children cry.

Such upheaval.

Beyond comprehension.

Causing unbelievable disruption and

tension.

Putin and his comrades choose to destroy

all that is good,

Satisfying their belief in the USSR and all

that she stood.

Bombing, destroying, death and all

livelihood.

God give us the strength to live and love

and respect what is true.

But above all this, may peace reign anew.
