CAN’T the weathermen stop giving names to storms.
Look at the horrific damage caused by storm Eunice?
But there’s a sweet old woman who lives round the corner from us. Her name is, you guessed it - Eunice!
Imagine how dreadful she must feel at having her name associated with such a destructive storm.
Why not use the maritime weather warnings, storm force 10 etc, which can be more precise than yellow, amber or red?
