IN RESPONSE to last week’s letter about the rise in the use of e-scooters.
Nothing will be done, just like nothing has ever been done to stop cyclists riding on the pavement.
If electric scooters are illegal to use why on earth are they allowed to be sold?
It’s no good saying it’s OK to use them on private property but not on the public highway because people will be people and ignore the law.
The only way to stop them is to stop the sale of them.
