I ENJOYED a trip to the World of Glass with the family recently.
It’s the first time I’ve visited the exhibition detailing St Helens’ history and I found it wonderful.
I like how they have created the gallery spaces in the there too – there was some superb artwork from local children, carol singers were performing and there was a special trail.
With all the activity – ice rink and teepee – nearby at Chalon Way, it was great to see that area full of life.
I look forward to what the location will be like when they create more food and drink venues there. Hopefully it will draw more people and give the World of Glass more custom.
By the way, will the planned extension of the World of Glass - by creating an additional arts centre - still be going ahead? Or has that idea been scrapped?
