IS it me or have a lot of people forgotten how to drive since the pandemic?

I’ve come across some awful driving in recent months – is it a lack of skill, concentration or just recklessness?

The worst example I encountered was on the Asda roundabout when I was in the right hand lane preparing to turn off for Westfield Street (heading out of town).

A car roared up behind me, overtook me in the left hand lane and then accelerated up Westfield Street – flying through a red traffic light and up Liverpool Road.

Unbelievable and so, so dangerous.

And to be honest, I very rarely see traffic police.
