I READ a lovely story about how film crews and the actor Martin Freeman were in Taylor Park recording a new BBC drama. I think it’s brilliant the location is being identified for this kind of use.
I also notice an outdoor Shakespeare production is being staged there too. I just hope that all those who are taking part don’t get put off by the awful stench of cannabis that so often wafts around the park.
Some parkgoers think they are perfectly entitled to stroll around the park smoking the drug.
Point 1) It’s an illegal drug – despite what many argue
Point 2) It absolutely stinks - like the worst case of BO imaginable.
Families shouldn’t have to put up with the stench, so perhaps the police could do something about it?
