IN response to ‘Labour’s plans for a better town’ election advertisement.
It’s all well and good reading some of their plans.
But how does giving £500,000 to grassroots rugby league benefit the people of St Helens?
Is rugby league’s governing body funding this or is it instead our Labour “suffering savage Tory cuts council”.
If it is the council, how can they use ratepayers money on a project that will generate little to improve the vast majority of the lives of the town’s residents?
