FURTHER to the story about the defibrillator being installed at the Gerard Arms.
Since the article went out, I have been contacted by a number of individuals and organisations who have stated that they will be raising money for their own defibrillators.
This includes another one in Eccleston, with a public access defibrillator scheduled to be installed at the Griffin Inn and one by Thatto Heath train station in memory of a resident’s mum who sadly passed away after suffering cardiac arrest by the train station.
Cllr Michael Haw,
Eccleston councillor
