I AM not going to jump on the usual bandwagon of complaining about our town centre being a ghost town due to all the empty shops as I normally would.
Instead, I think more can be done.
As everyone knows there seems to be an increasing problem with homeless people, and yet so many empty shops.
Would it not make common sense to open a couple of these empty shops for people who have fallen on hard times, especially at this time of year with the cold spell.
Surely to put a roof over their heads would not hurt or offend anyone?
