MY husband had done some shopping in Morrisons in Boundary Road.
When he got to the check-out he realised he had forgotten his wallet and told the girl on the till.
The young woman in front of him was packing her shopping away and said: “I’ll pay for his bill!”
My husband wanted to pay her back, but she wouldn’t tell him her name or where she lived!
She just said: “No, this is my good deed for the day!”
I hope she reads this, as we just want to thank her very much for her kindness and wish her and her family a new year full of luck and happiness!
St Helens folk are the best.
