WE are told St Helens Council cannot grit side roads due to the cost.
Fair enough, it is important to keep main roads going.
However, the road outside my local doctors and chemist next door was too dangerous for me to walk on.
Surely the council should give some priority to a doctors’ surgery and next door chemist where elderly and sick people are likely to need to walk there?
It was like a sheet of glass.
