IN reply to WGM, St Helens Star January 3, 2019.

I would like to remind WGM of all the potential disasters that would occur if the 2016 vote was to leave Europe.

Loss of jobs, financial collapse, etc. etc. none of which happened.

Now we hear of disruption of medicines, traffic chaos and a thousand other problems. It won’t happen folks.

WGM talks of a crash when Brexit is implemented, showing that he has been taken in by the scaremongers.

Any politician who is campaigning for a people’s vote, (a second referendum) should look at how the people voted.

I didn`t vote Tory at the last election but I didn’t complain of the result.

Neither have I heard about any other calls for a second Westminster vote.
I quote May`s statement: “No deal is better than a bad deal”.

Do we want to see the breakup of the UK? The backstop,(if implemented) will be disastrous for the UK where the EU alone will permit us to fully leave but the UK will continue to pay in with no say on matters.

A strong leader would have had us out long ago. It’s delays that have caused the unrest.

London is the one area that voted remain in 2016.

The media and Parliament is in London and that is why we see so much protest.

Throughout the rest of the country, the will to get out is still the priority.

I repeat myself BUT. Please will all people with Google access type in, “Sir Bernard Jenkin on Brexit”. (I include WGM in this). It`s eye opening.

Roll on March, Out means Out, in mine and the majority of other pro-Brexit supporters.

This morning I tried to watch the news from Westminster, I couldn`t because of the din from the pro-EU people in the background.

It`s time that the BBC and other news channels moved inside so that we could hear what both sides have to say.

The EU are working away in the background to promote these scenes.

It`s our money that they are frightened of losing and they`ll do whatever they can to keep it.

Border Security? That`s another issue.
