IN response to the anti-Brexit letter by WGM printed January 3, 2019.
Whether people realise it or not, we need to Brexit as it’s the only hope our younger people have to have better paid jobs.
Many can’t get proper jobs, all that is out there are zero hours, minimum wage agency work and therefore no chance of ever getting a mortgage.
Things will stay this way with the constant influx of migrant workers who are willing to work for such terms. They too are being exploited.
Do people really think that the constant building of new estates everywhere you look is to help the housing shortage?
Young people who can’t get mortgages and the homeless aren’t buying these places, it’s mainly private landlords.
The longer we have open borders the more strangled our economy will become and the country will eventually burst at the seams.
Mr C Eccleston
