ANYONE who travels through Windle is frustrated by the roadworks, but I can’t understand why some people think they can avoid Windle Island by travelling down Moss Lane.
There is clearly a ‘no through road’ sign located by the last house on the left.
Not just cars, but lorries think they can navigate this single track road which leads into a farm yard.
Not only are the farmer’s family and animals put at risk, by some of these frustrated drivers who travel far too fast, but so are hikers, dog walkers and horse riders.
I suggest some people need to refresh their understanding of the Highway Code.
