A Silent Soldier tribute
TO the young girl who shook my hand on Sunday, November 11.
Due to my impaired hearing I did not catch what you said straight away.
Thank you for those words as they made my time in the armed services really worthwhile; more than any medals.
I served my country for my people and to know that there are children like you makes me proud.
Thank you once again.
