I AM disabled as are many more people, but on Friday morning I drove to St Helens and tried to park at the side of the town hall.

This is central for me and far enough to walk to the Theatre Royal, where I wanted to buy some tickets.

As often happens there are three cars parked on the disabled area taking up most of the parking spaces.

I couldn’t fit in between because there wasn’t enough room to squeeze in.

So, thinking I would only be a few minutes I tagged on to the back area which unfortunately took my tail end over the loading area.

You guessed it, I came back a few moments later and I have a ticket on my windscreen.

Why can’t people be considerate of other folk who also have blue badges and are lucky enough to be able to use this facility.

There should have been room for five but the way they were parked meant there was only space for three.

Please consider others.
